Table Buying Tips
There are a couple things that you'll want to keep in mind when buying a pool table.
First up is the size of the room you'll be putting the table in. Since there are a wide variety of tables you can purchase, you'll want to make sure to measure the room that the table will be in to give yourself plenty of room. Remember to keep in mind that you'll often be standing as much as 3 or 4 feet back from the edge of the table, and that you'll want plenty of room to pull the cue back.
The second thing you'll want to consider is the felt/cloth thats on the table. This is a huge factor in your play because it determines how fast the ball is going to travel on the table (slower/faster). In general, cloth tends to promote faster ball travel than felt does; just keep that in mind.
These 2 things are probably the biggest factors to be aware of in addition to how well taken care of the pool table has been.
